Margaret Paradis, 76, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Born April 15, 1947, in Wilkes-Barre, Peggy was the daughter of the late Margaret Brice McGlynn and former Mayor of Wilkes-Barre, John B. McGlynn.
Peggy was married to Michael E. Paradis of Pittston, raising two children together. She was a receptionist for many years before retiring from Community Counseling Services.
Peggy had a green thumb and was an enthusiastic gardener. She was also an excellent artist and was loved by many.
Her brothers, Thomas and Jack McGlynn, preceded her in death.
Her daughter, Christian Paradis; son, Michael Paradis; grandchildren, Zach Tonkin, Noah Tonkin, and Alexis Tosline; brothers, Patrick McGlynn and Michael McGlynn; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends will miss her very much.
Celebration of Peggy's Life takes place on Thursday, December 14, 2023, with visitation from 3 to 6 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
